God damn that panning is so stupid and dumb!
God damn that panning is so stupid and dumb!
But music exists to pan! Panning is the soul essence of music!
I don't like your kick. It has no bass at all in it. Try and EQ it better before the last distortion plugin or use a multiband compressor.
That break in this track is way too long, and it's dull with barely anything going on.
yeah looking back its pretty shit
Why did you label this Hardstyle? This isn't Hardstyle. This is Hardcore where you forgot to add the bass after the kick drum.
The riff that comes in at ~2:30 is pretty dull. Well done, you picked some chords and did nothing interesting with what you have.
Shit! I forgot to put in the airhorns!
Sorry!
I'll make sure next time you'll be the next person I go to for ALL of my hardstyle needs.
You must be the all knowing guru with your type of experience :^)
I don't like any of the synths you used and I also don't like how you used them. The melody is ok though. The kick makes no sense either, this is HARDSTYLE, where's the BASS?
Hardstyle focuses mainly on melody, but I see your point. Look forward to a bass boost in the album version of the song.
That kick is weird. I don't like it. You're using a club kick layered with a really weird bass.
Got nothing to say about the riff, pretty typical. I don't think the toy piano works in this context.
Is this a joke?
If your referring to if I would like a review or not, then no, it's not a joke. I do want an honest review. not a cynical question.
if you have nothing to offer in the way of a review, please don't try and put down my review in such ways. it only makes you look bad, and then the community.
Hook me up with the vocal track man.
thanks
Your kick is distorted. Learn about compression and sidechaining. The 808 snare roll is unnecessary. The snare in the kick snare, kicksnare pattern is either inaudible or just not even there.
The bassline could do with being low passed and you could automate the low pass filter to make it less boring.
A lot of the leads are too dry, try adding either more reverb or more delay.
Haha, I know about the kick but I liked it! xD
There is no snare besides the 808, but I think you mean the clap? Yeah it's quiet, but I looked at it more as ambience, but considering the percussion is pretty sparse I can totally see why you feel it should be more audible.
Fair point about the bassline, I tend to be lazy when it comes to filter modulation! ;)
The same amount of delay and reverb is used as in the beginning, where I think it sounds plenty. But you think I should increase it for the louder parts? I know it doesn't come through very well, but I don't want to overdo it either.
